G's wired on her audio, we're all closed out and plugged into parts of our passions. I review Rich Hope at the Main on Main and follow it up with old friends jamming in my ears. Passenger Action for the tragic pretty parts.
He lounges under the spinning ceiling fan, making my ginger beer and tequila seem all the more wet. Brownies and a book for Big Dave, pipe in his left hand, the wood chugging away at a well packed bowl. Smoke whispers into the ceiling fan, he reaches over to strum and leans back. There's some kind of devil in that boy, soul and blues stylez. And it runs deeper than the thickness of his forest green socks.
Some say it thrives most in the silver of his beard, a capacitor for the day he'll unleash the fury of the devil from his reggae, rooted bones.
